Center for International Education (CIE) is furnishing mandarin courses from 2 weeks to one year. Regular courses are given 8:30 to 12:30 in the morning Monday to Friday 20 hours per week. Advanced intensive courses run 30 hours per week including the language practice class in the afternoon.

For one semester and one year students, electives are also provided to strengthen their language skills in listening and speaking as well as enrich their understanding about Chinese culture. Language skill electives include Audio-Visual Chinese, basic journalistic Chinese, etc. Culture electives may offer Taichi Quan (Chinese Shadow Boxing), Chinese painting, Chinese calligraphy, Chinese songs, etc.

CIE residence is in the identical location as CIE office and teaching building. Thus, if you take CIE residence as accommodation, there will be no need to travel. Each room has one or two single beds, private bathroom with 24 hours hot water, study tables, chairs, telephone, TV, refrigerator, and air conditioning. The residence is also furnishing hotel-like services including calling services and room cleaning accomadation . Internet is available with extra payment each month.
